Last Days of Summer

When the summer first began it seemed endless.  I looked forward to no schedule and hours of fun and sleepovers with the grandkids!  I was not disappointed.  We went to the pool, worked on crafts, watched our favorite shows and movies and had many, many sleepovers. (Our current record is 3 days in a row.)  There is nothing like a house full of children!  I remember a time when I was trying to have a conversation with my Mother amidst the noise of the household.  She told me, “That is the noise of life. Enjoy every minute, it passes too quickly!”  Very good advice from a wise and wonderful woman.  I am enjoying!!!  Nana

My favorite part of the summer was baking and trying new recipes.  This is a recipe I found but I changed it and made it my own. Hope you love it!     $ydney**
